How Does the Subscription Work?
When you purchase a subscription from us, you will receive automatic deliveries every 60 days by default. Your payment details are stored securely, and you will be charged for each delivery according to your selected frequency.
By subscribing, you consent to your subscription being automatically renewed and to automatic charges being made to your card.
By subscribing, you agree to be charged for your initial order at the time of purchase, and then on a recurring basis according to your selected cadence.
Your default delivery frequency is every 60 days, regardless of pack size (2, 4, or 6 jars). You can change your delivery frequency at checkout or at any time from your account dashboard. Available frequencies: every 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, or 180 days.
Example: If you purchase on October 4th with the default 60-day frequency, your next payment and delivery will be on December 3rd.
There is no minimum commitment. You can skip, pause, modify, or cancel your subscription at any time — including before your second order.
1. Overview
This Subscription Policy ("Policy") governs the terms and conditions for subscription services provided by VetPets ("we," "our," or "us"). By subscribing to any of our products, you agree to abide by this Policy, as well as our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. Our Subscriptions
We offer recurring deliveries (subscriptions) for selected products. When you subscribe:
- You authorize us to automatically charge your payment method for future deliveries at the price and cadence selected at checkout.
- You receive 20% off every recurring order and free shipping on every recurring order, along with other benefits only available to subscribers (as advertised on the product page).
- You choose your pack size at checkout (2, 4, or 6 jars). Your default delivery frequency is every 60 days, and you may also select a custom delivery frequency (30, 45, 60, 90, 120, or 180 days) at checkout or change it later from your account dashboard.
3. Billing and Payment
- Your subscription will be charged to the payment method provided at checkout on your selected cadence (every 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, or 180 days).
- Charges occur on the same date of each cycle as your original purchase. Example: If you purchase on October 4th with the default 60-day frequency, your next payment will be charged on December 3rd.
- You will receive an email confirmation upon each successful billing.
- You will receive an email reminder at least 3 days before each automatic charge, with a one-click option to skip, modify, or cancel the upcoming order.
- Failed payments due to expired or invalid cards may result in shipment delays or cancellation of your subscription.
- Prices may be subject to change. We will notify you in advance of any pricing changes before your next billing cycle.
4. Shipping and Delivery
- Subscription orders are processed and shipped automatically on your selected cadence.
- Free shipping applies to every recurring subscription order.
- Shipping times follow our general Shipping Policy.
- We currently offer subscriptions internationally via shopvetpets.com.
5. No Commitment and Right of Withdrawal
- There is no minimum commitment period. You may skip, pause, modify, or cancel your subscription at any time, including before your second order is processed, without any fees or penalties.
- Right of withdrawal: You have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from your first purchase in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws. In addition, we offer a 100-day money-back guarantee on your first order — read more in our Return and Refund Policy.
- If you do not wish to renew your subscription, simply cancel it at least 24 hours before the next billing date.
6. Modifying or Canceling Your Subscription

You may cancel your subscription at any time before the next billing cycle without penalty. Once cancelled, your subscription will not renew, and no further charges will be applied.

You can also:
- Skip an upcoming shipment
- Pause your subscription
- Change your delivery cadence (30, 45, 60, 90, 120, or 180 days)
- Change pack size or swap to another subscription product
- Update your shipping address or payment method
Changes must be made at least 24 hours before the next scheduled billing date to apply to the upcoming order.
7. Returns and Refunds

8. Free Trials and Promotions
From time to time, we may offer:
- Free trial periods for subscriptions
- First-time subscriber discounts
Free trials convert automatically into paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the end of the trial period. Only one trial or promotional offer may be redeemed per household unless otherwise stated.
9. Auto-Renewal and Termination
All subscriptions renew automatically on the selected cadence until cancelled by the customer. We reserve the right to terminate any subscription at our discretion, including for reasons such as:
- Repeated failed payment attempts
- Abuse of promotional offers
- Violations of our Terms of Service
10. Legal Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
